Case Study
This 3D isometric room was created on Blender. This was my first attempt at a 3D project, and I feel is a remarkably strong showcase of determination and creativity. The project features a virtual room made entirely from scratch. The room was designed as a testament to what I could bring to life with my imagination. The detail was crafted with meticulous precision—to achieve a visually striking ensemble that works cohesively to achieve the final composition.
The room’s design was created with the goal that the owner’s personality could shine through. The challenge was giving the room a sense of character. I wanted the owner’s sense of self to be evident in the way the space was used. This is why I added the books, the half-thrown blanket on the couch, the plants, the art on the walls, the gaming PC. It provokes a deeper relationship to the space and it makes it feel more like a home than just a house.
Overall, the 3D isometric room project was a great way to test how I was able to tell a story using only visuals. I believe this is also a great testament to my own passions and versatility as a designer. I was determined to make this project as a beginner, and I pushed myself to these limits to prove to myself that I could make a beautiful design in a limited amount of time with the knowledge I did have.
