Architecture Magazine

Case Study

As a graphic designer, designing an architecture magazine is both exciting and challenging. To get started, I researched other architecture magazines to gather inspiration and took note of what I liked and didn’t like about their layouts, typography, and overall design. Using this as a starting point, I developed a concept for my magazine that considers my target audience, the content I want to feature, and the overall message I want to convey.

These are the steps I took before I was able to come up with the final product:

1. Research and Gather Inspiration: Start by researching other architecture magazines and gather inspiration. Look at the layout, typography, and overall design of each magazine. Take note of what you like and don’t like, and use this as a starting point for your design.

2. Develop a Concept: Once you have a good understanding of what’s out there, develop a concept for your magazine. Think about the audience you’re targeting, the content you’ll feature, and the overall message you want to convey. This will help guide your design choices.

3. Create a Wireframe: Before diving into the actual design, create a wireframe of the magazine’s layout. This will help you visualize where each element will go and how it will all fit together.

4. Choose Typography and Color Palette: Select typography and color palette that will match your concept and audience.
