Case Study
The goal of the project was to create a series of visually stunning photographs that would showcase the city’s vibrant culture, architecture, and attractions to potential tourists.
The project goal was to capture the unique character and energy of Downtown Calgary through a series of photographs. The photos needed to be high-quality, diverse, and showcase a city life through the eyes of a teenager.
I started by conducting research on the city’s landmarks, attractions, and events to identify potential shooting locations. After scouting the locations, I developed a shot list and timeline for the project.
The photoshoot took place over the course of two days, during which I captured images of landmarks such as the Calgary Tower, the Peace Bridge, and Stephen Avenue with my subject.
During the post-production process, I carefully edited each photograph to ensure that they were of the highest quality and that the colors were accurate. I selected a range of images that showcased the diversity of Downtown Calgary and provided the client with a set of photographs that met their goals.
The final photoshoot product was a success, exceeding the client’s expectations. The photographs showcased the unique character and energy of Downtown Calgary, capturing a range of landmarks, people, and events that define the city. The images were used on the client’s website, social media, and marketing materials, helping to increase tourism and showcase the vibrant culture and attractions of Downtown Calgary.
The Downtown Calgary photoshoot project was an exciting and challenging project for me as a freelance photographer. I enjoyed the opportunity to capture the essence of the city through a series of photographs and help promote its unique character. The project required careful planning, attention to detail, and an understanding of the client’s goals and target audience. Overall, it was a rewarding experience, and I am proud of the final product.
